School started last week, and rolling into week two (literally, I’m tired already and feel like being rolled around) has been a jungle of madness already.

THE LAST YEAR.

I cannot believe I start my last year of college on Tuesday, September 6. Five years (yes, five, I’ll get into that) has gone by in a snap, and I’m sitting here feeling ambivalent, excited, scared, and optimistic. This last, sixth, year of school will be the most important, pivotal, and encouraging year of my life. I’m ready to get started.

WHY I STARTED BLOGGING / PEOPLE OF INSPIRATION

 

 

Blogging was an activity that always seemed too unreachable for me to actually accomplish. I always felt like no one would be interested in what I had to say, I would constantly be out of ideas, and I never felt confident enough with my writing. But I’m here, I’m writing, and I couldn’t be happier.

LIVING ALONE | 1 YEAR LATER

It’s been just about one year since I moved into my own efficiency (smaller than a studio, no separation of space, about 200 square ft.) apartment. After living with roommates for two years and turning 22, I figured it was about time. I found a cozy, filled with charm, older building that’s just outside of downtown and close to where I go to school. It’s perfect in almost every way.
