A Saturated Life

2017 is finally here. I’m not even going to waste time talking about, you know, *2016*, because it was a weird, terrible year for everything that was outside of school and my personal life. ANYWAYS, it’s a fresh new year and I’m not going to say I want to lose weight or eat more kale because that’s just not going to happen. Here is what’s up in 2017:

Graduation is creeping up on me, which I am ecstatic and terrified about. I plan on getting an entry level design gig, paying my student loans, and dabbling in the world of freelance design all while hating how warm summer will be. Getting a car is also high up on my list for this year, because I’m sick of taking the bus oh my god. Also, a car will allow me to freely drive to Target whenever I feel the need, so obviously it’s going to happen. In all seriousness, I am ready to grow, change, and succeed this year. It’s definitely going to be a pivotal one.

Learning to love and learning to love myself is also high up on my list. I want to love myself so much that people start to notice. I need to love myself so much that I don’t care about walking on eggshells around other people’s feelings and I need to learn how to assert myself and how to be bold. I need to stop saying I’m sorry and apologizing for my existence when I have done nothing wrong (It’s a really bad habit that’s hard to break tbh).

Some other things I’d like to do this year: take a little trip to Ikea because it has been way too long. Get some new eyeglasses that I actually want to wear instead of my contacts. Go on a family vacation. Learn to love Photoshop. Purchase a new laptop. Fall in love. Eat more avocados. Buy more products from Lush. Post more on this blog. Grow more plants. Check my phone less. Try veganism because vegetarianism is getting boring. You know, little things.

What do you want to accomplish this year? What silly goals do you have for yourself? Feel free to spark up a conversation below because I’m nosy and like to hear what other people have in mind for the sparkly fresh 2017. Let’s make this year saturated, bright, and wonderful.

With Magic ✨
